RICHIERIDE

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 October 2026

What we collect

Customers: name, phone, email, pickup and destination locations, optional voice messages and notes, ride history and ratings. Riders: name, phone, email, area, ID details and scans, driving licence, tricycle registration, photos, ride history, earnings, and live location while online.

Why we use it

To match customers with riders, run rides, keep riders verified and everyone safe, handle emergencies and disputes, and improve the service.

Who can see what

Riders see a customer's name, phone, pickup, destination and notes after accepting a ride. Customers see the rider's first name, vehicle, plate and live location during a ride; the rider's phone number may be hidden until arrival if the rider chooses. Our administrators can see accounts, rides, rider documents and emergency alerts. People you share a ride link with see the rider's first name, vehicle and live location, plus pickup and destination, for that ride only.

Rider ID documents are stored privately and are visible only to the rider and our administrators. We do not sell your data.

Where it is stored

Data is stored with our service providers (Supabase for database and file storage, Cloudflare for hosting and security checks). Maps and address search use OpenStreetMap services.

Location and microphone

Location is used only when you set a pickup, while a rider is online, or when you send an emergency alert. The microphone is used only when you record a voice message. You can refuse permission in your browser.

How long we keep it

We keep ride and account records for as long as needed to run the service and meet legal obligations, as described when you ask us. You can ask us to delete your account and data.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information by contacting us at the contact details on our home page.

Security

Data is protected with access controls, private storage and encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure; tell us at once if you suspect misuse.

Children

The service is not for people under 18 without an adult.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change.
